My mother is aged 77 years and has Alzheimer's and Frontalobal dementia. She has been on a downward spiral for the last week. She is constantly asking to be taken home, even though she is at home. She lives in the same house she grew up in but doesn't recognise it anymore. When asked she will describe the house she is in. She will wake in the middle of the night demanding to be taken back - its exasperating! Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this?
